1.. No Cheat cookie

5 pitted dates

6 grapes and/or half of an apple (I used the grapes)

Chop in blender then add

1 egg, blend till slightly smooth, add vanilla if you want (Use spices to bring life to your new paleo recipes)  I didn’t use it

1/2 cup almond butter

Grind to make 1 cup

Pecans, walnuts, flax seed

1 tablespoon of egg white protein powder (Rose Acres only)

½ cup almond flour

Any dry spices (Use spices to bring life to your new paleo recipes)

Mix in bowl, bake 375 for 5-8 minutes,, greased (olive oil) cookie sheet, flatten cookie works better

 

 

2.. 5 minutes to mouth no cheat snack

Handful of raisins in blender, chop a few seconds, add

Handful of walnuts, chops a few seconds, put in bowl, add

2+ tablespoons of almond butter

Optional add: healthy coconut flakes, vanilla

Mix till blended then roll into balls

 

3. BBE (best beets ever)

2 beets peel and cut into bite size chunks (2 cups)

2 tablespoons olive oil

Salt (to taste)

Onion & garlic powder (to taste)

Tablespoon fresh rosemary

Pinch of mint leaves

Mix in glass baking pan bake 375 until softened  (25 minutes+)

 

 

4. Can’t believe it’s legal cake!

8×8 glass pan (grease with almond oil and dust with almond flour), bake 40 minutes 350*

Puree until smooth:

14 pitted dates, handful of grapes, and handful of raisins, put in bowl and beat (with hand mixer til smooth) , set aside 1/3 cup for topping, then add

4 eggs

¼ cup melted but not hot coconut oil

Vanilla (to taste), mix until blended, then add

2 cups almond flour

¼ teaspoon baking soda

Mix until blended, then add

¾ to 1 cup frozen blueberries, stir by hand and pour in baking pan, apply topping then bake

Topping:

Over low heat melt

2 tablespoons coconut oil and 2 tablespoons coconut flakes, add the date mixture, warm for 1 or 2  minutes then remove from heat , add ½ cup almond flour and 1 tablespoon of cinnamon, mix

 

5. Banana carrot muffins (paleo plan modified), no cheat!

Chop a 1 cup of nuts:  walnut/pecan mix

Grate 3 large carrots (1 ½ cups), 1/2 tablespoon orange peel, 1/2 tablespoon lemon peel

Chop ¼ cup pineapple (no juice)

Line cupcake pan with paper cup or oil and almond flour, makes 18

Blend in blender or food processer til creamy ; 14 pitted dates, ¼ of the orange, ¼ of the lemon, 3 large bananas (no peels), ¼ cup of raisins

In large bowl; 3 eggs , ¼ cup melted (not hot) coconut oil and date mixture, mix by hand til well blended

Add 2 cups of Almond flour, 2 teaspoons of baking soda, 1 tablespoon cinnamon, 1 teaspoon nutmeg, ½ teaspoon of ginger & cloves , mix til blended

Add the carrots, nuts, pineapple, mix, spoon into cupcakes, bake 25-30 minutes on 350
